Realistic expectations for next football season

What are your realistic expectations for next football season? I want to believe we can make it back to the CFP next year but I just don’t see that happening. The defense will be solid, and the offense should be improved (at least I’m hoping so). My gut says we go 12-2. I think we split with FSU, and probably drop one other one during the season (ND most likely). The big factor here with playoff implications more so the timing of the “potential” FSU loss. If it happens early in the season, that would be more ideal. Obviously, I hope to beat them twice but it’s tough to beat a talented team twice like that.
Just trying to make some conversation for this long off season we have ahead. I’m pumped to see a brand new offense under Garrett Riley. Also, I think next year is a huge year for Wes Goodwin. My gut tells me he could be in a Brandon Streeter situation next year if he underperforms with the amount of talent given. Just my thoughts. Let’s hear yours.

against someone not named UGA. We might not win it all but we won't be embarrassed.

I'll go on record with 14-1 --> early loss to Tulane.

Subject to change as time passes. You never know about injuries. You never know how good, or bad, other teams will be. (Miami was the pre-season pick to be playing Clemson for the ACC championship. aTm was a popular choice to win the SEC West.)
But, as of today, the following expectations are all realistic, to some extent. They get less probable as the list goes on.
1. Make it to the ACC championship game. 2. Win the ACC championship. 3. Make it to the playoffs.
The following two goals are hopeful goals but I don't think either is ever realistic for any team.
1. Go 12-0 in the regular season. 2. Win the national championship.

No expectations here. However, I predict Clemson will win the ACC championship game. I'm not buying any other team in the ACC until one of them actually gets to the CFP. Other ACC teams are too inconsistent in my view for me to trust.

Natty or nothing
But realistically the floor is 10-2 and make the ACC championship. Florida State and Notre Dame should be the only teams that are competitive with us.
Going undefeated is hard so I say most likely is 12-1 with a CFP appearance. Then it will depend on who we’re matched against.

My feeling after the UT loss was probably 3 losses with 4 a possibility without an offensive coaching change and some adaptation in philosophy.
Now I feel like if a couple of things happen we got a shot. Need the wideouts to really break out. The talent is there. Oline to improve which should happen with the experience gained last year. I think the defense with who we have returning and the experience gained in the secondary last year should be a top 15 defense. If it is not, we made a mistake with Wes and need to move on. Most of all stay a little more healthy than the last few years. BV would have the current D a top 10 for sure.
