The Tigers are 7-1 overall and 2-0 in the ACC currently heading into Saturday nights showdown against Pittsburgh,a Panther team they beat twice this past season in the ACC Tournament Championship in November and also beat them for the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament in April.They lost their first game of season on Tuesday night at UNC-Greensboro,3-1.Before that the Tigers were on a shutout streak of 6 matches in row without giving up a goal.They had only given up 1 goal up until Tuesday night's match and that took place back at the first match of the season against St.John's.They Tigers are ranked #2 in the nation n the United Soccer Coaches Poll currently.
