When Shipley ran the ball out of the end zone, his knee clearly touched the field about the 1/2 yard line so I assumed he was down. Could anyone see the ball coming out before his knee went down? I couldn’t.

Our line got pushed back so that could be right. Safety either way so it really doesn't matter but thank goodness we recovered the fumble.

You don't even have to snap the ball, the center simply hands the ball to the QB between his legs. The QB just takes a knee behind the QB, and when the center hands him the ball, he's down, clock runs, game over, Rec. League 101 !!
