Hot take.... watching Peter Woods before he was cut down, he looked slow and gassed. He also looks over weight and out of shape.

We need to be better than that a pressuring the QB. Donnell Clark said the same during the 5th quarter show. He played DT at Clemson so I assume he knows what he's talking about.

Well he’s playing out of position he’s a dt that we’re trying to play at de because we’re severely lacking depth at that position. You got to play in a lot more space at de compared to dt. 320 or whatever he weights is too much to be playing at defensive end imo

Guys his size don’t usually play on the edge rushing the passer and dropping into coverage. He oughta be gassed at 310 lb doing that.
If he can get back inside at some point he will be the next Christian Wilkins.

if , as reported 66 players played in the 1st half Saturday Night, it looks like they played 1st,2nd & 3rd strings. "Looks" like emphasis was placed on getting everyone playing experience for later in season ,instead of loading up exotic blitz packages to appease the keyboarders.

We have played a ton of zone so far.
Long season ahead. The defense should be fine.
Worried about the pass rush? I suggest you watch the games with a stop watch and see how quick the opposing QB gets the ball out. May not be many sacks but there are reasons why.

I think one difference is less push from our linebackers this year. he better tighten up or some will want his head too 😂(the linebackers coach)

Yes, you are bring overly critical. They fid a decent, not great job against Georgia. App St. didn't have much time to throw, which is the main thing.
