Portal candidate??

Dec 8, 2021, 12:28 PM

I doubt we move on this guy since he only has a year of eligibility left but Olu Oluwatimi is in the portal from UVA. He started 32 straight games and is a finalist for the Rimington Award. He is plug and play at center from day one.

The Rimington Award should be renamed "The Holding Award." In our 81 NC game, Dave Rimington grabbed Perry and Devane with both hands on every play, and they still whipped his butt.

My future wife and I were watching the game. The NBC crew kept beating the Rimmington drum at the games outset. Then there was a holding call on Nebraska, and then a couple more, and finally, I believe it was Bob Trumpy; admitted the calls were on Rimmington. I never heard the cats name, the rest of the night, but I heard a lot of Perry, and Devanes name, being called.

I do believe that most high ranked players who enter the portal know their destination prior to entering it and have been recruited beforehand.
