Poor secondary play

I know we had issues yesterday. This post isnt so much about that as college ball generally. If you watch enough games like I do you see it is pervasive among the sport. Busted coverage, out of phase coverage , free runners, shoddy tackling at best and refusal to wrap up when in position to tackle. I'm not sure what teams practice but db play in college ball is very poor everywhere right now

I'm taking a break from watching the game on my DVR. I thought it looked bad, yesterday, but it is hard to watch, again. I'm disappointed that the poor DB play continued all day without the coaches doing something different to help them. Hopefully we can get Jones, Greene, and Mukaba back this week.

The youth and inexperienced showed like that annoying red street light all in your bedroom window when you want to sleep.

We need some Mackensie Alexander... Justin Miller...Bryan Dawkins... training for these guys coming in.

At the end of the day, we lose that game if we had not interfered with 3 of those passes. Not saying that interference calls are what we strive to get a record breaking number of but it's a fact that three of those passes would have probably put 21 points on the board for WF.

We only pressured the QB on 5 out of 29 passing

attempts. Our DE's aren't getting pressure. Our front 7 seemed stuck to blockers all day.

We need XT back to, hopefully, bring some more speed and pressure to the DE group.
