Pittsburgh game day bar for Tiger fans

Any insight on game day pre-gaming for Clemson fans on Saturday in Pittsburgh? (not including the boat event thing). McFadden's is a big place nearby, but not sure about Pitt fan factor.

Wondering the same thing, driving up Friday morning for a long weekend, know nothing about that city. Staying in the strip district which supposedly is pretty cool. Figure I’ll do all my research in the car on the way up.. I’ll have some time

If you are staying in the strip you should go to Rolands. Saturdays in the strip are great and there are plenty of places to eat and drink but Rolands is the go to for a College game day especially if you a little older and enjoy sitting down with your beer and enjoying some good seafood. That is the thing about going to a PITT game. You don't get that College football atmosphere but you do get big city amenities and a pro football stadium. I think you will be pleasantly surprised by Pittsburgh. Very walkable, safe, clean and a great sports town.

There are a few bar/restaurants right along the street to the stadium since both football and baseball stadiums are right there. Great walk along the river as well.
