Pitt is next....

Oct 16, 2021, 11:55 AM

Never in the last few years at the start of a new game week do I feel like our Tigers will lose. As the game gets closer I realize it is possible. This week I already feel like this is a loss against Pitt. What do you guys feel? Just feel our offense cannot score enough to win this one. Thoughts......??

It will be a great challenge. I won't be there, but will be in Vegas for the weekend. Looking forward to a wager on the Tigers. If Pitt beats Virginia Tech today -- certainly no sure thing -- I think Pitt will be favored.

Unless a miracle happens, we will lose to Pitt bigtime. They have an excellent passing QB.

If Rayburn isn't out of COVID protocol and playing next Saturday, then I'm afraid that it will be tough for the Tigers to have good output on offense.

If Rayburn can play -&- assuming that neither of the starting T's become unavailable and that no more than 1 from among the G's of Bockhorst, Putnam, Tate, or P.Tchio become unavailable ... then you will see surprisingly good performance from the offense next Saturday.

If the other big assumption (i.e., no rash of major illness among the D players and full availability of J.Skalski and B.Spector), then our D will keep Pitt's outstanding offense from scoring their video game type of points.

In other words, if the OL is fully healthy and the key players on D are fully available, then we'll win.

Otherwise, we get smoked.

I think we take the L. Just feel like they will score some points and don’t have confidence we can keep up. Hope I’m wrong!!!
