Since it is the week of the Pitt game, I unfortunately was reminded of our old friend and USuC grad Duane Heydt and his corrupt officiating during the 2016 game.

Echoes of this situation are ringing in a story out of the English Premier League today.

Referee David Coote (very appropriate name) has been suspended after video leaked of him saying some very unflattering things about Liverpool and their former manager Jürgen Klopp. This is ref who has been involved in several controversial decisions which went against Liverpool over his career, including one on Saturday.

Heydt has since left the ACC for the NFL. Too bad a similar video of him isn’t out there revealing his true feelings towards Clemson.

There was a pretty bad game at NCState..... I can't remember the year though.
