For the NFL to bite the bullet and announce a decision on Deshaun Watson. With the NCAA expansion talk, the media is likely to not even sniff the outcome.

has not only already been convicted in the Court of Public Opinion, they continue to lobby for him to receive the All Time Highest suspension of any NFL player ever, up to and including permanent banishment from the league.

I don't get it. There is no video evidence. There is no audio evidence. There is no FORENSIC evidence. When you come right down to it, ALL the cases are basically a He Said / She Said heresay tossup.

Since this Arbitrator is a former Judge, who has presided over trials where actual evidence is required to convict somebody, the NFL may be rudely surprised by her ruling. Although, as I understand things, the only ruling she could make that the NFL could not appeal would be NO suspension. The NFL would surely blow several gaskets if that turned out to be the case.

Any ruling she makes that includes any suspension time could (and would) be appealed by the NFL, with Commissioner Goodell then determining the final punishment. She may just cop out and say a one game suspension, knowing that it takes the ball out of her court.
