I know that the Panthers have a long contract with Charlotte, but is there something in there where they would be allowed to move? Everything that Tepper has done seems to indicate he is driving the team into the ground deliberately. Trading away proven players for nothing in return. Draft picks? And do what with them? Alienating fans by moving the practice facility?
Wa's up here?

Tepper is a raging liberal who has never managed anynthing other than a hedge fund.
Can’t say I’m shocked he has ruined the entire franchise. In fact, I saw it coming from the day he bought the team.

He wants a new stadium with Dome.
Like all Franchise owners they want socialized funding but hold private revenue earnings. All while being the richest owner in the league.
Doubt he's trying to tank this bad, but you never know. It was dead in Uptown Sunday relative to most home openers. Even last season when all hopes were lost people tailgated big, not so much last Sunday.

I thought it was insane to be asking so much for the PSL and then the season ticket price when you can't give them away on the street. That's something I'll never understand. You don't value your product, the market does. I ain't got that kind of discretionary income to be a "loyal" fan.

I can't see NC helping pay for a new stadium for a consistently bad team, they will probably relocate to another state.

I would implore them to visit downtown St Louis and see how losing an NFL franchise impacts a city.

Great point.
It's bigger than just "football" in the city. Many businesses are impacted when you take a huge hit on tourism that games being taken to other places would have. Charlotte is right up there with Austin, Texas as "fastest growing" cities in the U.S.
Tepper likely knows this too. He's just too much of an arrogant wealthy "blank" to behave like a decent NFL owner. If he played his cards right, this could be a money maker for him down the road(a new stadium that in most part he constructs). Jerry Jones to my understanding is about 10 billions less wealthy than Tepper; yet it is my understanding that he paid for the stadium in Arlington for the Cowboys. The events they have there, the money that's generated there. I can't help but think it's paying for itself. Tepper is just too tight. After that Rock Hill debacle, clearly he is a bit of a loose cannon.

Could not happen to a better franchise. That team has always seemed to be "questionable" with their tactics.

Tepper is a bum he needs to go I’ll give the new head coach a pass not much to work with. Bryce Bust Young needs to quit football ASAP.
