Ouch! Keon Coleman Reportedly Issued Major Warning to WR Recruits for FSU

Supposedly Keon told FSU WR recruits not to go to FSU if they wanted to be developed under Dougan(sp?), the WR coach.
This is what you get from Portal players because they don't learn to love their schools as its just a place to collect a check nowadays. The exact thing Dabo is trying to prevent and wants to develop players and build loyalty to the school and the team. Not a group of 1-&-done dudes passing through for their checks.

piece of crap thing to do.......FSU's undefeated season got him alot of attention, draft attention and he was picked highly.......literally no reason to do this other than being a D-bag........
His logic: I'm so worried about the direction of WR's at my former school i'm going to sabatoge there recruiting....because i care so much

I would be pissed if I was Norvell. I don't think Dabo's former players that made it to the NFL would go after new recruits like this or I would hope they wouldn't.
Keon transferred from Mich St for his 1yr paycheck and avenue to NFL then tells recruits not to come to FSU. That is pretty crappy!

when you have a significant number of mercenaries on a team.
At the end of the day, you have a roster full of kids who aren't dying to attend or who grew-up wanting to play for a particular school. These transfer kids are opportunists who are going to a place that fits them best at that time. It's not about the school, the coaches, the facilities, the fans, the education or the culture. It's largely, if not entirely, a me attitude about the amount of money they're going to be paid. As a result, teams are turning into a group of individually talented athletes assembled simply for a paycheck.

And Agents hired while in HS before they commit to a school. Think that is why we have had decommitments recently. The HS recruit loves the school and commits but the Agent keeps looking for bigger offers and when they find the right bagman, wham! Decommitted because they were boughg and the Agent gets more pay as well.

But Bass you do understand that is antiquated and you cannot win if you do not get some one and dones.
Loyalty is over rated just like a free education. We need to get these kids a payday, and if they decide to graduate then that is a bonus but no need in helping them or teaching them to achieve something that will carry them after school.
Does that sound about right?

He said something a little derogatory but I rhink it was just more of an excuse to get closer to home and some of that Oil Money. But he didn't call HS recruit commits and tell them not to go to Clemson like Keon. That is another level of dirty.

I reckon that's his excuse for sucking.

He protects his ego by blaming his failures on training and development. With that attitude I wouldn't want him on Clemson's campus.

he's a rookie who's had 22 catches with a 19 yard/per catch average, and 3 TDs.
