If Ohio State doesnt make the playoffs there is talk they will skip the Rose Bowl since they have already been there a couple times in the last 5 years. If they skip the Rose, they would match up in the Orange Bowl against the winner of the ACC.

contract with B10 - sounds like BS. There are likely only 2 more traditional Rose Bowls based on the Playoff expansion so why would anyone consider doing that even if allowed.

Nope. Rose Bowl wants to pass on the bucknuts because they are upset with them for not selling their ticket allotment previously. They are looking at Penn State instead.

Lmao Ohio State is the biggest loser fanbase in the country. Can't even sell tickets for the Rose Bowl while also being one of, if not the largest alumni base in the country. I'd love for Clemson to go to Rose Bowl, that'd be incredible to finally have a chance to smell the roses.
