While my fav was the 1990 team that won the ACC “regular” season but sadly not the tournament.

Saying, this is a disgrace for a program that has tried every angle..from hiring several quality coaches who went on to win bigger at other schools..

Spending tons of millions to build LJ..then later restructuring its size to be smaller & more intimate..then reversing that with better fan sight lines..then adding on new attached facilities for team & quest teams..etc.

Are we fooling ourselves again that Clemson can excel to be in the final 4?

Yes & no since we have reached the final 8 before (twice?) while it’s encouraging that Coach Brownell & Squad are seemingly heading to new heights, again.

The ACC didn’t exist until the 50s, that was the SOCON tournament

Won the SoCon tournament the ACC wasn't a thing until 1953.

Oh, the topics I made in my post above about our program & lack of history after all the $ spent (JK will say it’s a pittance, and probably true to other programs) should elicit some discussion and yes, the 1939 team was not ACC affiliated since conference didn’t exist..which proves my point even more.
