Poll - If you can’t measure it, should it really be a sport?

Yes, there are some general exceptions in my mind.
Diving - but why does it not force people to do the same dives? Then you could tell who was better.
Yes, I know gymnastics is the same, again, why not make them do the same routine?
Swimming, track and field, basketball, volleyball, golf, tennis, badminton, weight lifting, rowing, etc - all have defined winners\finish line.

Synchronized swimming? And sync diving. Why?
Why is bike jumping , tricks in the olympics?
Why is that even a sport? Interesting and athletic- does not make it a sport.
Yes it takes dedication and lots of work - but everything needing that - does not make it a sport worthy of Olympics.

Judges should not decide winners, athletes should.

JMO anyway.

have to do the same, required routines. I know they do that in figure skating in the winter Olympics
