During yesterday's game, they said that there was a uniform snafu at Wake Forest, and he had to wear 99. Since the WF series broke his slump, he chose to keep wearing 99.

It is his girlfriend’s lucky number. He wore it, played well in it, and superstition will keep him in it. It’s nice having teenage girls who keep me up to date on important matters.
