Offensive Gameplan against Texas should be?

I think RPO Cade should throw 40-50 times repeatedly attacking the middle of field. And going deep. The running game should evolve around Cades mobility he should take off when he sees a lane. I believe this game is a lot closer than people think. Keep Texas under 21 and Clemson got a chance.

Offensively, I'd like to see us go for touchdowns. If we find ourselves 4th and X somewhere between the 5 and 40, I guess we settle for 3.

I agree, our biggest weapon is Cade and our wide receivers. Go after them on every play. Do not run Mafah, but use him as to fake out Texas linemen. Use Cade to run alon with Antonio Williams.Texas will stop the conventional running play. Use screens to stop their blitz’s.

Should do:
Sit Mafah if he is not healthy. If they are going to use him, he only touches the ball between our 35 to their 10.. Goal ine fumbles have been disastrous for us. If he is having issues with arm, shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand...the chances we have a turnover goes up exponentially.

Use Sammy Brown as RB. Not to carry the load but take some of the snaps that Mafah would normally play. I live in Jefferson, GA where he played HS ball. Believe me, this kid is a beast carrying the rock. Jr year he was not a known commodity, so he caught many off guard with his combo of size, agility, strength and blazing speed. He killed it that year. Sr year, everyone knew who and what he was. Coaches game planned around him. They knew what was coming but they couldn't stop him. He averaged 9.1 yd /car for his hs career. He would give the tx defense a look They haven't seen. There is no film on him at the college level. I would not hesitate to give him the ball in the red zone. Use him on jet sweeps, lead blocker, HB passes, blocker on screens. Direct snap Cade to the flat. On bootlegs or roll outs he can get to the DE In a flash, has the power and size to take DE's on 1 on 1. He can bea weapon so many ways...use him!

Give Cade and the recievers options at multiple levels and good options for check downs. I've gone over his 2024 film and if the OL can consistently give him 2.5-3.0 seconds clean, he will pick you apart. If they can give him 3.5 you are getting torched. His decision making, pre-snap reads, and processing have been incredible this year. If he feels safe in the pocket, he will put on a show.

Crossing slants. Quick read, easier throw, take the 7 yd.f we have to nickel and dime, this is our path. Screens are going to be difficult Slants and a wheel route or two, will go a long way. Brinny and A. Williams crossing. Both are very sure handed and Brinny is tough to match-up on

2 back set is not dead. Give our smaller scat backs (if we use them) a lead blocker to pave the way for speed.

2 TE set. The hyphenated, 2 last name guy Henry Patrick-Olsen or fitz-henry Patrick, Patrick Henry Mary Kate oleson, has flashed his ability catching and running. He and Brinny

Wesco going deep on go routes often. Use to bait later on. Fly, fly, fly. Then when they play cover 1 and/or safeties crashing down, he gets inside leverage, Cade throws to a spot. Wesco is deadly.

Take shots. I truly believe our recievers can get separation. Their secondary is probably the best in the country. Make them cover the whole field early and often. Run them to death. Make them have to rotate. Make them use their depth. Air it out. Run plays to win not plays to lose not so badly. We're not supposed to be there. We are not worthy. If we lose we lose, but play to win.

Window dressing and get creative. Get their eyes moving . Give them looks they didn't see on film. Run stack I, put Cade under center, 2TE on same side, 1 TE and H back on same side, bunch formations (get the d tripping over eag other) Creativity.

They know we know by now that our bubble screen passes never work, so they will assume we would never use them again knowing that they don't work well. We should give them even more bubble screens to shock them.

Up tempo from the start, QB runs and passes to the middle, use the TE more.

Hate to disappoint but we probably won’t throw a pass beyond 4 yards the entire first half. It will be a repeat of the UGA game. Dabo is going to play this first ever road playoff game so conservative to try and keep their crowd from getting cranked up on turnovers. Of course they will go up and down the field on us while we suck our thumb. If we are down less than 20-0 at the half Dabo will be super pumped while criticizing the D and will smoke a cigar with Magic Mike later.
