Noon Kickoffs: "The New Misunderstood CFB Gripe"!

A lot of folks complained about Clemson vs. Georgia starting at Noon.
But, week 2 we saw another big game start at "what time"? Noon. Texas vs. Michigan a top 10 battle was at Noon. Alabama vs. Wisconsin. It's a True Road game for Alabama outside of the SEC. This game too has a Noon start.
Folks: much like many people didn't get why so many folks were streaming movies instead of going to Blockbuster - this is a change we need to get used to.
It's not great for tailgating! But, it's good for TV?
TV is going to win out; because big corporations do not make money on people tailgating(well besides the beer companies maybe and the brats makers). It's a 9 a.m. wake up to two good teams playing if you are on the West coast. And, if you slept in on the East coast, you wake up grab a bite and then watch a two good teams.
Because, TV likes it, get used to it.
As someone who likes to go to Church every now and then; I don't like getting home super late after a night game. Ranked most desirable to least for me: 1. 3:30 2. 12:00 3. 7:00 4. 7:30 5. 8:00
But, I am not Corporate America, so my little opinion doesn't matter. I think we are just going to see more and more top games in this time slot. It's never hurt Oklahoma vs. Texas. Or Michigan vs. Ohio State. Get it over with and carry on the rest of your day. Just have to plan around it!
Agree? Disagree? Why?

Also LSU in Cooterville at noon.
Yeah, I didn't include LS Who v. Scar - because I wanted to only reference "Big Games"! Some people were upset about us being at 12.
I think "it used to be a mark that you were not a good program" but TV has dictated the time slot as a desirable slot now!
I think the only time slot suitable for scar is 11:59 pm est.

living on the East Coast and having an attachment to a Mountain West team with a 10:30 ET start.
I remember being crazy enough to start watching at noon and staying up through the 2 a.m. conclusion of games I didn't even care about.

They were mentioning on one of the networks that I was flipping through about getting better matchups for noon. Is it Fox that always does a Big Noon game? If that indeed is the case (I will look it up later) ESPN had to counter that potential loss of viewership. Win for tv and the viewers. Loss for the fans that want to tailgate.

No one cares. The B1G and Big 12 have hated Big Noon kickoff for years. The joke has been "It's noon, Must be halftime in the Big 12."
I think they are going to find out that most of the ACC schools aren't going to pull the same ratings at noon as the Big 10 or Texas when they were in the Big12.

When we went regularly, I loved 1 o’clock kickoffs. This was the norm before Death Valley was lighted. Now that we don’t attend anymore, I prefer mid-day still. I’m retired so I can get my chores done thru the week and begin cooking at halftime for after the game. And, watch other games later. And not get home so late. And my wife says I’m just an old f4rt! Go Tigers!!
