New conferences. It will never happen but we need

to start from scratch with new conferences that make sense. Meaning geographical location which also reduces travel cost. My Southern Conference would be:

Miami
Florida
FSU
Georgia
Georgia Tech
Alabama
Auburn
LSU
Tennessee
Clemson
South Carolina
+one

Mid South:

UNC
Duke
Wale
NC St
Kentucky
Virginia
Virginia Tech
Penn St
Pittsburg

Etc.

A lot of these schools, mainly the ones in the ACC, have barely power 5 football programs. Hate to say it, but if Clemson doesn't wind up in the SEC or BIG, we might become one of them, unless major changes happen to level the playing field between those two conferences and everybody else.

Clemson
FSU
Miami
Va Tech
UNC
NC State
Pitt
Louisville

These are the 8 existing ACC schools that put real resources into football, and UNC is probably under borderline here.

Tossing in a West Va here would make this 9 and a pretty attractive, dedicated, invested, fan traveling mix all within a nice linear geographic footprint.
