Clemson posted a 2-0 week with Quad 2 wins over UNC and FSU. Our NET rating is now up to 26.

We have a week between games, giving the team some rest and time to travel to Dallas to face SMU on Saturday. That is our last Quad 1 game of the regular season.

Current W/L per quad (our record from a week ago in parens):
Quad 1: 3-2 (3-2)
Quad 2: 7-2 (5-2)
Quad 3: 6-1 (6-1)
Quad 4: 5-0 (5-0)

Remaining games per quad:
Quad 1: 1 (@ SMU)
Quad 2: 1 (@ UVA)
Quad 3: 3 (vs ND, @ BC, vs VT)
Quad 4: 0

Projected NCAAT seed
Bracket Matrix hasn't updated since the FSU win, but that game is unlikely to move the needle much. We are projected as a consensus 7, up a ticket from the 8-seed projection a week ago (pre-Duke).

108 bracket predictors are factored into the matrix. All 108 have Clemson in the field, with a highest projection of 6-seed and lowest of 8-seed.

T3 Bracketology does a great job on Twitter indicating when teams lock up bids. This site says the matrix scores indicate the Tigers are pretty much a lock to make the Big Dance after another 1 or 2 wins. Still want to try and win out but they are in great shape. Link:

One other factoid...we are the highest ranked team with a Quad 3 loss.
