I don't think so, he was down to OSU, Bama and Florida (along with ND). He took an OV to Bama last month while he was committed to ND, I think that's where he goes. His post was focused on his future and developing into an NFL player, so feels like it's a Bama business decision.
He is most likely going to bama. However, his mom tweeted a few days ago that he will be taking an official visit for the Ohio State ND game week 1. Thoughts among Buckeye recruiting insiders are that Ohio State has a reasonable chance of landing him. DL coach Larry Johnson has coached up the Bosas and Chase Young. He may also have another 1st rd DE (will need to improve) next year in Harrison. I have my fingers crossed; Nick Saban is not one to be trifled with.
He didnt put up stats in that game, thats for sure. I think the biggest factor (being a buckeye fan) was the fumble that wasnt. That one hurts. In my opinion, which could be biased, it was a catch, 3.5 to 4 steps, then a fumble that was returned for a td. It was called a fumble on the field. Then an sec crew overturns it. I could see upholding it if it was ruled an incompletion on the field. Overturning it was befuddling. Lots of things led to a loss for the Bucks- cant be up by 16 and lose a game. Cant allow Lawrence to run for 350+ yds and12 tds. Plus, I dont think the Buckeyes beat lsu. But you never know.
I’m fine with the fumble, that was probably a bad call. But, Buckeye fans are still whining about that targeting call on your DB on Trevor Lawrence. If that wasn’t targeting, then it should never be called again. But, these same Buckeye fans think that Skalski was guilty of targeting on Fields when he hit him in the hip area. BS call. Read the rule book
I agree. That was targeting. Sure Lawrence braced for impact and lowered himself, but Wade led with crown of his helmet. I never understood why Buckeye fans complained about it. I think The ejection penalty of targeting is ridiculous and we all as fans should boycott until that is changed
