I think its great NASCAR is taking one of their main series back to dirt this week at Eldora in Ohio. Itll be a lot of fun to see some of the traditional dirt guys compete with the rising stars of the NCWTS. Graduating from NC State, I am very familiar with the fact the last NASCAR race run on a dirt track is over at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds Speedway. Over 40 years later, NASCAR returns to its dirt roots.
Of particular interest, I am family friends with the Blaney family and it will be great to watch Dave, the dirt track legend, go up against his son, Ryan. Keselowski is sponsoring both drivers this weekend. Ryan will be in his normal #29 while Dave will be behind the wheel of the #19. Both trucks are automatically qualified because they are top 20 in owner points thus far this season.
