Where does this stupid myth come from?
And why do Clemson fans continue to help keep it alive?

A few facts:

Clemson has won 16 of the last 19 games.

11 of Clemson’s 16 wins are by double figures.

Clemson’s average margin of victory is 17.


More domination coming this weekend.

I would guess that 5 of the last 7 have been decided by 10 points or less. Scrolling through, it seems that they are either close games or total blowouts. Dave Doorknob believes that the path to greatness goes through us. Which is logical. But he doesn't seem to get that he also needs to win the other games too. He has made it clear that his objective every year is to beat us. Admirable goal, but that is what keeps the Wolfpack in a constant state of mediocrity. Historically, they have had a few good years, but those have honestly been few (too few) and far between (very far).

The mythology is that they are some type of contender. And they're just not.

Everyone knows they got us a couple times recently.

But… our last 3 wins over them are:

41-7

55-10 (in Raleigh)

30-20 (even with DJ)

I always say they play their best against us. Doesn't mean it'll be close. They just like to bring their best performance for us. Which is very annoying considering they hardly win anything that's considered relevant. NC State = Coots of the ACC

Clemson is 60-30-1 all time against NCSU and has only lost 3 times in the last 20 years. Hardly an even rivalry over the years.
