This guy isn't making any predictions. But, I like his analysis of the situation as it stands today.

One issue with using Nebraska as a data point for the AAU requirement vs preference for admission to the B1G is Nebraska was an AAU certified Univ on admission to B1G then lost that status.
My understanding is current AAU members basically dictate or weighing on non-members applications. Meaning they can AAU block whomever they want to.

Nebraska, from what I have read, lost AAU status due to medical unit being outside of the purview of the University. Politics.

Spencer, IMHO, is full of chit. The BIG president's control the BIG. They are focused more on academics than FB. THEY ARE A SNOBBISH CLIQUE.

AIN'T NO SCHOOL NOT AN AAU MEMBER GETTING VOTED IN.

I have to keep reminding folks that MichSt was a Big10 member for 14 yrs before getting an AAU invite. That was 60 yrs ago when Big10 presidents were still ivory tower snobs and in full control. Today, Fox Sports calls the shots for the next contract and it needs to increase to start paying full shares to Oregon and Washington. Thus, the next adds for the Big10 will be driven by TV revenue not the Big10 presidents who are currently waking up to a challenging enrollment cliff. Revenue talks and Ivory Tower snobbery takes the backseat.

That delights me.

Clemson is a southern school and being a B1G school is the last thing I want. It's like making cornbread without buttermilk.

I don't understand why anyone on here want's to associate with liberal president's in the conference that ran from Covid and didn't start football until almost 2 months after the ACC and SEC started.

Joining the Big 10 would be the worst decision ever made in the history of Clemson Football. It wound flat out kill sports like baseball. And i know everyone says it all about football, however you can not decapitate the rest of your athletic program
