Well they are fighting back ... +6 two thirds of the way through only 3 shots out of 4th .... if they don't start a combined +8 on the first two holes this morning would be looking down the scoreboard not up ... at least they have time AND the are four shots ahead of the host (Ohio State) ... just can't stand them!!!

College golf is a long 4-5 hours and you can't overreact to early results. Clemson started on the back 9, which appears to be far more difficult based on the scores coming in. Tigers are fighting back and are currently in top 5, but lots can change between now and the end of all 5 rounds.

as in all athletic competitions, it's more about the final score than the score at the half-time - even if the sport doesn't have a half-time
