With 3 backs and the TEs that try; otherwise only lineman. Backup DTs play both ways so they can get the Bednarik/Nagurski. WRs can learn how to block in this formation and not worry about catching. Eventually they graduate to catching passes for trick plays. DJ no longer required to pass. OL just run blocks. I feel like this solves all the problems.
