Supposedly the proposal was never funded, but that doesn't mean they didn't find funding somewhere else.

The documents promise to fuel the controversy around the Wuhan lab's role in the pandemic.

And again since day 1, the biggest thing that supports a lab leak is the evolution of the virus. A pandemic does not naturally evolve so quickly. The odds of a perfectly evolved totally new virus capable of infecting millions across the world in just two months, you don't just have a virus like that jump from an animal to a human. You have outbreaks, then outbreaks that spread, and over time the virus evolves to become a pandemic, but to just jump from a bat (or some host) to the entire planet of humans in 2 months? That's not going to happen naturally. The Chinese refusal to allow a detailed investigation, the lie about the market, and it's interesting, some of the genetic modifications mentioned in the document, or proposed, are exactly what makes covid different from SARS, MERS, and any other coronavirus OR VIRUS known. Immune suppression, increased viral loads.....the document, if authentic, no matter if funded or not, points a glaring light on China, and on scientists, Duke, UNC, and any others who participated in this.

Whole lot of "no comments" doesn't help.

Also a reason why I think we developed and used for the first time ever, a mRNA vaccine. I still think if 6 billion people had taken our vaccines by last Independence Day in 2020, the virus would have disappeared. The process I mentioned above, enhancing immune suppression and replication, those mutations in covid are the one thing that point to an unnatural origin. They are unique to covid. The fact there were 13 different covid strains in the earliest days of the virus in Wuhan, is another clue. The fact China closed the market where they alleged it started, then sent everyone home, and DID NOT TEST THE ANIMALS THERE, is another clue. If it started there, there's no way they would not have locked everyone in the place, and tested every single person and animal for sale there, alive or dead. THEN you would find your natural host. Nope, they didn't even try to do that, another big red flag.

Which leads to the question about Alpha and Delta variants. The original covid strains from Wuhan showed large levels of proteins that suppress interferon release in human cells. More than any other known virus, and that's what the paper specifically mentions as a point of their engineering goals. So, the question is this, what if we set off a natural evolutionary time bomb, where an engineered virus became a pandemic, then mother nature favors the engineered trait to make the virus more potent and easier to transmit? I think this is what has happened, naturally. It's like we tip off mother nature and she sees this trick works very well, and evolution then kicks in naturally to favor this unique trick we engineered. You then end up with a mutation that's an order of magnitude MORE transmissible (Alpha) and later another mutation ANOTHER magnitude greater in transmission, with Delta.

Our vaccines still work in neutralizing the virus. Very well. The virus has proliferated by neutralizing our immune systems. There has been no spike protein mutation that has evaded our vaccines, and certainly none to justify 60% increase in transmission, then another, and an R0 that went from 1.5 to 6-8. No, the mutations that are keeping it going, and making it more transmissible, are mutations favoring increased immune suppression. The danger with this is something that has been seen in India, and will likely become very common worldwide. The increased immune suppression will not only favor the spread of covid, but will open a door for other infections to take advantage of the immune suppression. This was seen in India with some type of previously rare black fungus, that proved to be deadly. Many covid survivors ended up with this fungal infection, that normally our immune systems can handle. Thousands died from the fungal infection after covid, and that's a long-term concern we need to be aware of.

There's no way to verify the document, and the content of it is almost too perfect to ignore. If it is real, it's bad. But then again it may not be. Everyone seems quick to say they didn't fund it, but no one is saying the document and proposal didn't happen. It shows that someone was thinking of doing exactly what would need to be done to produce a pandemic.

And lastly, this is a problem with having the world's deepest pockets. You end up invested in everything and when something goes wrong, you had dollars in it.
