was introduced by a friend to the hobbit and ring trilogy in '68,my last year at CU.have always been grateful for that.couldn't put the books down.pleasantly surprised at how well the movies were done,especially the trilogy.not so much the hobbit.it was dragged out too long.and agree,coots would definitely be the orcs.tigers would be wizards and maybe the elves.
