Last night Clemson showed what it means to be a team player.

Duke is the only good basketball team in the ACC, and the last thing the conference needs is for them to have a bad loss to someone like us. It’s similar to us in football. This year Pitt and NC State showed they don’t know how to be team players on the grid iron. Sure, they have a nice “win” in the record books, but with 0 ACC teams in the playoffs, their selfish approach cost them millions in shared playoff revenue. Pretty short sighted by those programs. Conversely, with last night’s game, Clemson has a close loss to a quality opponent it can build on and Duke is still in the hunt for a National Championship. There were no losers. This is teamwork, something Pitt and NC State could learn a thing or two about. We are in a new era of college athletics, which requires unique perspective, hopefully Jim Phillips has already made this clear to the rest of the league.
