I'm 62 and am in better shape physically, mentally, emotionally, etc. than I was at 47.
In part because at 47 your life is your kids. You eat the crap they eat, your schedule is tailored around theirs. Now at 62 I'm more careful about what I eat, exercise daily, life has slowed down a little.

Happy belated birthday! I’m 53 and still feel 17 inside. It doesn’t change. The body just don’t hold up as well as the mind. The world sees an old man. Heck, I see an old man at times in the mirror. I see a young man with experience.
