Until ALL are fixed and not alowplayed one by one then you will see a repeat of the last 4 years.

Oh, it’s Defense Too! We are Fundamentally a very Poor Tackling Team. Poor Angles, Terrible Footwork, Inability and “Want” to Tackle and Wrap at the Legs!

The last three seasons we've been able to blame poor QB play for all that ailed the team, however this season the diagnosis of what's wrong is much more complex, unfortunately. Our defense is mediocre, our special teams horrible, and the offense, while improved, craps the bed against any team with a pulse. All while having a QB that's had one of the best seasons in all of college FB. When the team appears to be less than the sum of its parts that's usually on coaching and poor player development. Unfortunately that's a lot harder to correct than simply pointing fingers at the QB.

While giving up 17 points is not the problem, it looked really bad to constantly have the QB break long runs.
Yes, he's an amazing athlete but something should have changed defensively to try to stop him.

Every healthy running QB Goodwin defenses have faced have done this. Riley Leonard, Jordan Travis, Stanford QB before he got hurt, heck UGAs QB, Citadel QB, SCAR QB, it won't stop this is 3 years of him showing us he has 0 clue how to stop a running qb or power run teams in general.

The run defense has been an issue all year, offense looked good until we stopped the downfield attack (as usual)
