at this point in time EVER going to change? Like even if the conference has a down year will people still hype them up as the greatest conference ever? I believe so unfortunately. wasn't it just a few years ago that the ACC had the best bowl record, and beat a few SEC team along the way, yet the narrative was still "the ACC is weak?" and the old classic SEC excuse, "we were too beat up from playing against each other." EsecPN just has way to much control over the minds of America, and unfortunately I dont see that changing.....ever!

No, in football the SEC controls recruiting because there always seems 5 or 6 teams in the Top 10 in recruiting every year. The success in recruiting of course leads to success on the field and that success leads to the narrative of the greatness of that conference. Clemson or another ACC team can have great success and even win a National Championship but there is no question the top to bottom best conference is the SEC.
