SC has two wins and Clemson is 1-1. Should they be ahead of us? There’s multiple teams that have two wins. I think KSU has an argument for being higher than us but their record isn’t the argument.

I think all rankings pre-October are sorta meaningless.

Helpful maybe for week one and help to sell tickets but really not of value during the month of september.

K State game was close but Tulane is no pushover these days. Tulane has won a couple of New Years 6 bowls last 2 years haven't they? Tulane will give OU all they can handle next week.

Tulane has played in one New Years Day bowl since 1940. Beating USC in the Cotton Bowl in 2023 (a bad and weak USC team). Besides that it’s been the Cure Bowl, New Orleans bowl, Military bowl and the Famous Idaho Potato bowl.

at other teams with similar records. So who else is 1 - 1 and ahead of us. Do they deserve it? You can't get mad at the unbeatens.
