It was.I watched a good bit of it. I would especially encourage anyone who is interested to pay attention to Dr Anne Cook who starts around the 3:30 mark. She is the President of the State Board of Medical Examiners. She is followed by Dr Ropp, President of the SC Medical Association.

As it stands, neither the State Board of Medical Examiners nor the SC Medical Association has levied ANY sanctions against a physician for treating COVID however they chose.

I would hope that physicians continue to practice evidence based medicine while still retaining the autonomy to use off label meds if based on sound science. Nothing has changed.

I was immediately struck by Senator Kimbrell touting the Family Physician for prescribing antibiotics for one of his constituents who had viral pneumonia when the hospital did not. Note to Senator Kimbrell: Antibiotics do not work against viruses.

The hospital administrators, medical group administrators, malpractice insurance companies, etc apply enough pressure.
