...then I'm more than willing to give Hunter Johnson a chance.
Seeing as how this was our first transfer, it becomes glaringly obvious that either DJ is no longer whatever the recruiting boards says he was.
Oh well. Time to move on.

Stetson had 84 five star players around him and that was after Kirby weeded out 46 4/5 star players that weren’t as good as the final 84.

Look it up- 24/7. They have had in the upper 40’s the number of de-commits the last 5 years. That’s not players that just decided that “Ga is no longer the place I want to be”. Ga recruits the same position after commitments and if someone better comes along, then they “make room”.
That’s why you hear Dabo all the time say “we only make commitable offers”.

Kirby recruited a complete team and didn't need to rely on a generational QB. Yet he is still recruiting good QB's to be on the roster. The future in Athens is bright.

This doesn’t mean what you think that it does. Hunter reached out to Dabo seeking a GA position; Dabo didn’t solicit him. DJ may indeed be supplanted by another player on the roster, but this does not represent a further erosion in confidence in DJ on Dabo’s part. What it does illustrate is that our QB, due to injuries the transfer portal and the MLB draft, is pretty bare and Dabo wants to bolster it.

Bennet’s primary contribution in the CFP Championship was to not give away the game with picks or fumbles.
Bama’s two best receivers were out - Williams going out after the 30 yd reception in the 2d quarter. Two of Bama’s DBs also missed the game, and the backups gave up a lot of receptions. Georgia’s defense is good, but it didn’t take much to stifle Bama’s offense. . .
