If last nights offense was ran the same way last week?

Had Wesco and Moore started last week? And the play calling was the same as last night? What would have been the score of the Clemson vs Georgia game? I have to believe we would have scored more than 3pts and hung with Georgia. Thoughts?

Who knows. If everything falls into place perfectly might get lucky and see them in the Playoffs again. UGA is incredibly well coached can't take that from them, they are probably going to be this decades Bama unfortunately.

Clemson would have annihilated Georgia and sent those bulldogs on a bus ride back to Athens with tears on their cheeks. Clemson's offense wasn't the issue. The playbook was the issue. The conservative play calling that Coach Riley dialed up was anemic and downright pathetic. It seemed as if most passes or play developments were behind the LOS. Last night was a different story. I hope Clemson meets UGA in the post season and gives them a mighty beatdown, and one that they deserve.

This is the dumbest #### I’ve ever read. Georgia would have still won by numerous touchdowns. Some of you are worse than the chicken fans crowing about beating a high school caliber Kentucky team. Unbearable ignorance. 🤦🏻♂️

When was the last time UGA scored 56 points in the 1st half?

IMO, UGA beats us last week no matter what players played or what

plays were called. For an August game, their talent was better than our talent (considering experience of the most key players we have on both sides of the ball).
If we continue to get better, maybe a December Clemson team has enough talent + experience to compete better. Hopefully, we will get that chance to see.

I agree with this. UGA has an all time most talented roster, nothing changes the actual outcome from last week. We are young, improving and finding our identity. Going from practice reps to UGA was gonna shell shock Cade no matter what. Replay in December and we continue to grow and we might be able to compete better, possibly won. No chance game 1.

UGA still would’ve won. Too much talent and depth and Beck is just a good, consistent QB. But Clemson would’ve been a heck of a lot more competitive and it would’ve been a “better loss”.

Who knows, but I have a feeling we might see them in a rematch in the playoffs and that game will be much different.

In the 1940s, the Redskins (yes, the Redskins) lost to the Bears in the NFL championship game 73-0. Sammy Baugh threw a seeming touch down pass at the beginning of the game, but was dropped. Asked after the game what difference it would have made had the ball been caught, Baugh shrugged and said the final score probably would have been 73-7.
So your 34-13 take is probably not far off.

Georgia was the better team Jessy and smart people know it. Maybe we could have put another 14 up but we would have lost it either way. Clemson is a grower not a show-er and Georgia tends to regress as the year goes on. We play them again in January maybe we win 🤷♂️

The difference last night is that App St didn’t have the size or speed to keep up w us. Plain and simple.
