What he has done this year with our existing Oline has been amazing. I can't wait to see what will be in another year or two when he gets his guys here.

Every wonder why other teams QBs that were ranked 1500th look all world, because they have comfortable protection and don't have to rush plays. It also correlates tot he WRs giving them time to shake defenders and develop routes.

Well done MVP coach Luke!

Matt was standing outside the huddle when they were deciding on the last play and not in the discussions. I guess it was a quick throw and just normal pass protection but I would have thought he would be in the middle of the crowd. Totally agree about what a great hire he is.

Usually Matt is the last coach off the field when they break those big offensive huddles on the field. He waits for what the play call is going to be then barks out encouragement and give that deep dark stare.

One thing I have noticed is that Dabo tends to lean on proven guys like that during in game situations and it drives his decision making. Think Venables/Morris. I don't see that same mentality with coaches like Goodwin and Streeter and even Riley last year. I think Riley has started to prove himself to Dabo and maybe Goodwin too. But Luke came in and had Dabos ear immediately and Dabo listened.
