It's not all on DJU. The entire offense stinks.
DJU 7-14-31. 17 of that was one pass. There were a couple of drops, but still that stinks.
Rushing 12-36 24 of that was on one rush. The OL ain't helping DJ at all.
The D has stepped up, especially considering how bad the O is. But, the defense still hasn't got a clue how to cover a running back out of the backfield, or a TE releasing to the flats.
All is all if I were being kind to FSU I would call the offense pathetic.
Taking out DJ may not help. But, you gotta do something. 67 yards of offense. 3 turnovers (on pass, one rush and one idiotic turnover on special teams).
6-6 seems like a pipe dream right now. 3-9 seems much more likely. (And, I'm not even sure who the third will be be.)

You ever hear some leaders described as “they just make everyone around them better”?
Somehow, DJ seems to have the opposite effect. Other players stop being able to make routine plays, and there is zero energy with his offenses. Can’t really say why, but it seems to be the trend over the years we’ve watched him play.

He is more mobile than DJ and the zone read plays may have a chance.

I hate it for you. You are a good fan and deserve better. We all knew this was going to happen. He needs to be benched but I doubt that will happen. Dabo should have benched him in that South Carolina game but didn’t. Norvell will ride it out until they are out of bowl contention.

FSU's best chance is to put their fastest guy at QB and play sideline to sideline. Move the pocket to take the pressure off the OL, and someone with speed back there to take off when the line collapses
