Top 2 teams in NIL expenditures this year Texas at $23mil and OSU at $21mil. I guess buying teams can work.
OSU had over 10 players making $1mil+ this year. This isn't what NIL was intended to do.

Clemson is doing the same thing Ohio State has done. Spend enough money to retain talent and bring in a few difference makers from the portal.
Hopefully this year it works in Clemson's favor. No reason for anyone to feel guilty about it either way.

I want them to use all the resources available to them to bring the best talent to Clemson football.
College football has been an arms race for quite some time. Just look at our facilities. All that has happened is now we are required to spend some of those resources on talent as well. But that’s where we are and if that’s what it takes to win a national championship then that is what we have to do to compete.

Just look at the physical makeup of their players....muscular to our soft donut look. It's obvious that a new strength and conditioning program was needed too.
