becomes OU HC and hires Jeff Lebby from Ole Miss as OC, look for the two of them to go balls out to get Arch Manning. Brent may even go after Cutcliffe as the QB coach. Venables is going to need a get back coach to keep him from being a bull in a china shop when it comes to making moves to put OU back on top. And he will have the backing of the OU AD.

Have never and will never hope for anything but worst for Oklahoma football and that won’t change with BV as coach. Hope Oklahoma has a losing season every year!!

Coach V’s as good as it gets but he’s walking into a very, very tough situation. They’ve already lost significant recruiting traction in CA, TX, and parts of the Midwest because of the cyclical re-emergence of other traditional powers. Talent base won’t be what it has been, which will be a problem because of the leap in competition that will come with expansion. Fans there expect 10+ wins and annual CFP contention. Not to mention, Stoops will be involved. The man that tried to effectively demote him many years ago. It has the potential to turn sour quickly. Just my .02.
