I agree, he needs to go now. We have some dudes, just not coached right.
Has Dabo ever fired one of the guys he hired. I know he whacked Spence and Steele, but don't believe he hired them. He has too much loyalty to improve the coaching staff.

Something weird going on here cause TE took over the tight end room this year and all we heard all summer was how they were going to be utilized and how strong the position would be with 4 guys we could play at the position. Well, TE has made that room almost invisible and a non-factor in the offense all year. What a coach!

I'm not sure firing him now is better. We aren't going to be able to hire a legit replacement until after the season. Would we really roll with an interim OC for the last 2/3 of the year. I doubt it.
This is assuming Dabo is even willing to fire Tony.

Yeah, I don’t think he gets let go during the season. But everything definitely needs to be taken into consideration at the end of the season and it be decided if this is the right guy for the future or if we need to go hire a big name OC. I do think it would spice things up to go outside the program for a new OC, but I’m also open-minded enough to see what TE’s body of work is at the end of the season.

What you got to lose? At least the fans and future recruits would see we planned on making a change; who would come play for this disaster

because this year is pretty much shot from a playoff standpoint. If we wait until the offseason we probably won't be firing on all cylinders next August.

We are not nearly as talented as everyone seems to think we are on Offense. We are not great at any position. 0. That’s a problem. That said, there are a ton of teams out there with average talent that offensive coordinators figure out how to get them to score

I don’t get it. Clemson has been recruiting lights out for years and to look this bad is just mind boggling. You can understand down years but the offense is so bad it’s hard to say if they just whiffed on the evaluation of talent or the offense is dysfunctional. I can’t believe what I saw today. This is bloody Clemson for crying out loud! Sheesh ??
