SMU just announced taking in $153 million from oil rich boosters.
Like some other colleges they can buy the players they want.
These days a kid must/should go with the $$ as most will not make the NFL.

LSU just lost a kid sources say was on a $10.5million dollar deal there to Michigan.
Apparently the 4th richest man in the world who is 80 just married a 33 year old who is a Michigan grad.
She can use his pocket change to change Michigan football.

The top teams in this years playoff are among the top NIL $$ teams, surprise surprise.

Because they were recruiting 1-3* players and not even in the top 60 in recruiting. They bought 13 lineman (DL and OL) before this season. Coach said they didn't have the depth to play in the ACC so they went shopping.

Until the NCAA to start to step in and put some real rules and regulations on this stuff, that's just how it's going to be and schools like us are going to be at the bottom of the handouts
