that the coots in Columbia will vote to keep Clemson out of the SEC. Do you really think the powerful state politicians in Cootville are going to let that happen? No way will they allow USUCK to rob Clemson of 100 million dollars a year. All it will take is a phone call from one of the powerful politicians who sit on the budget committee to tell the USC prez., that if USUCK votes to keep Clemson from getting 100 million in revenue per year, USUCK's state budget amount will get cut by 100 million a year, and that 100 million will go to Clemson every year. There are some who will play hard ball. Count on it.
Big time college football is a big business and a billion dollars is up for grabs by Clemson over a 10 yr. period. Some rinky dink state supported school who has never had and never will have a FB team worth a chit is going to rob us of a billion dollars.

I don't pretend to know how it all works, but I remember the Governor of Virginia forced the ACC to take Va Tech by way of UVa.

Once Clemson establishes conference home, big bro and li'l sis can go back to teasing each other. SEC would be long term win-win for Clemson, usc and State of SC.

There one vote against will not matter when the remaining members all vote for it.

If Sankey and ESPN wants Clemson the lowly coots will be brought in line.

join the SEC when it was first presented. They meekly voted Yes along with every other SEC school when the actual votes were tallied.

Would one team have veto power. I doubt it.

As usual the coots over-estimate their importance. They don't have anywhere near the power to stop us. Not even close.
