I dont see anyone holding the DLine coaches to account

The DLine play has gotten progressively worse since UGA and it finally bit us in the ###

They got totally out played and out coached.

Everyone wants to get on Wes Goodwin because he’s never played football.

From where I was sitting, the DLine played so bad (interior and edge) that it didn’t matter what plays we dialed up.

You can say it’s talent or lack thereof but the fact of the matter is that the play has been on the slide and despite the big leads and snaps we are building a lick of depth.

Or really making any plays at all.
Very poor.

Any chance there's some inequity in the players' pay that's causing demotivation throughout the group?
This is the new college football after all.

It would have to cause some locker room problems. It would seem that any high tier collegiate male football would have an huge ego

Correct. They have gone from being disruptive penetrators that destroy an offense, to chicken fighters who fight like kangaroos with the man in front of them and run out of gaps, or are pushed out of them by the opponent. Change began 3 years ago. Wonder what changed back then?

Our DTs had their worst performance of the season. They were good against UGA. Before last night, our DTs’ worst game was Stanford.

Our DEs are weak when either of P.Woods or TJ Parker are not on the field. In that situation, a back or TE can assist the O-lineman and double team Parker or Woods. When BOTH are out, our DEs are not up to Power 5 football standards.

A team cannot have a good DL if the DE unit is weak. Ours is weak when P.Woods is not able to play or if he’s limited to a small snap count. Heaven help us if TH Parker becomes unable to play in a game(s).

Maybe we are building depth, but for sure that depth isn’t good enough to hold up against good competition.

The entire defense is pathetic and has gotten progressively worse for 5 years. I guess parts are less terrible than others but really the entire product looks less like a Clemson d every snap. I do think once the legs were cut off several of them it did make a huge difference. No pressure, no tackling, people running through gashes without being touched. Ugh.

Those cut blocks were nasty. We had no answer...
