I don’t get it

Yes Pitt is good but please explain how they’ve played a defense that is even in the ballpark of how good our defense is?? And yes Friday we didn’t score a lot but the big plays were actually there for the first time all year we just missed them. These guys aren’t be quitting type and I see us going in and playing the best game of the season, Pitt is no where near our level. By the way people talk in here we shouldn’t even be a Division one team.

I believe Pitt will be similar. They may not get 54 but we should assume the number will be half of that which should be in the 28-30 range. But we seem to tap out around 20 at our best. Theres gotta be some way we can manufacture another score. I did notice we tried to throw a couple halfback screens but no of them worked bc one of our 4 blockers couldn't locate the one guy that got through to stuff it. But we hopefully will break a big play somewhere where their defense misses an assignment.. Thats really our only hope.

Fans are also forgetting about the Pitt defense. They didn't play well vs Western Michigan but since that game they have played very well. I think this is the 2nd best defense we have played since UGA. I think 21 will hard to come by but if we can, we might be able to squeeze out a win.

They are lighting people up. They are balanced. They have a good QB. Good scheme. Good defensive front.

This is a game where we will have to score more than we have all year to win against the best offense and the second best defense we will have played to that point.

We will have to take a giant step forward in the passing game to win Saturday.

Unsure what you don’t get? UConn is the only given left on our schedule. Ref Ga Tech, Nancy State and Cuse.
