That Potter was overlooked when the all American selection were made. I can’t imagine there being a better and more reliable place kicker in college football than he was for several seasons.

A lot of that is reliant on what school you attend. Bias has gotten really prevalent in collegiate athletics.

Jake Moody of Michigan. He didn't miss a field goal all year... 56 in a row and was 22 of 24 point after attempts. Potter is good, but isn't even close to being in that league....
