How to win against FL State.

Commit to the run. Dabo should require TE to stay with it. We had 75 yards rushing in Q1 against Pitt and then moved away from it. FL State is 79th in rush defense. Just feed Shipley and Mafah. Sprinkle in play action to keep them honest. Maybe even throw over the middle once or twice, but none of this horizontal/outside pass game.
I'd run out (from L-R): McFadden, Tate, Rayburn, Putnam, Parks to get our best run blockers on the field.

Agreed. Put I also don't think DJU is accurate enough to make those short passes into runs. DBs are also pressed up because we aren't really lighting it up deep. Like all our issues, multiple reasons why this short pass game is off this year.

I was thinking "score more points." But your idea is more detailed.

When Dj is under center, has our RB been stopped for less than 3 yards yet? I think we will see shipley and Mafa light it up this weekend. Shipley will need to go spray the field for turf monsters so they do not grab his toes.

Sounds about right. Screw the freaking passing game. It's horrible. If the receivers don't want to fight, don't feed them the ball. I would still take a few shots to Davis Allen to keep the FSU D honest. And definitely get rid of the stinking outside passes. Hate 'em. Did I say we should run and not pass so much? Sorry for repeating myself.

There is only one piece of advice needed to win and that is follow Tony Elliott's comment ( after the Syracuse game I think) and that is "We need to score more points" .Just score more points and you win. I don't care if you sack their quarterback who is lined up in a shotgun formation in their own end zone and win 9-7 ,or have their field goal kicker miss a 3rd field goal to preserve a 7-6 win. I don't even care if we get a pick six considering we are down 0-2 in that category. As long as we have one more point when the clock says 00:00 then according to Dabo, we win.

Order a few cases of this stuff.
https://inzernet.com/products/stickum-sprayStickum Spray Use this excellent tool for a variety of performance tweaks in training and competition. Can be used as follows: Spray across your back for extra grip of the bar during the squat or to secure your back on the bench for a higher back arch, across your butt to keep it from slipping on the bench, on the bottom of your sho

According to what Elliott has said

Dabo has input on all of the plays, so logic would dictate that we would be running more if Dabo wanted to.
The offensive scheme and plays called this year have had Dabo's full endorsement.

I would like to see TE slip a few shovel passes in as well, just to mix things up....

I think the basic how to win is to score more points than they do. I really don't care how they do it.

Don't throw any pick 6's. Can't hurt...
