Whether you are a Brad fan or not, it seems we have him for another 6+ years.
Clearly, he has some talents and also some weaknesses.
If we have him for the next 6, I hope he really analyzes what those weaknesses are and addresses them.
Positives,
He can recruit talent from the portal.
He can teach good fundamentals.
His teams generally play well together .
His teams generally play hard.
His players seldom get into trouble.

Weaknesses (as I see them)
He does not recruit high school talent well.
He does not make good in game strategy changes.
He does not game plan well.
He does not have end of half plays. (Dribbling around and taking a 3 is not a good play - especially when down 2.)
He does not have odd or gimmick defense strategies to take a player or team out of their comfort zone. (Like wade did today).

I would like him to relate better to fans and students. Be more personable.

Today was painful. Thank goodness they could not shoot free throws and allowed us to get close.

I thought for the first time in my 66 years, we had a final 4+ shot.

If Brad could improve a bit of each of those - then perhaps we can be more consistent.

Maybe next year.

if he keeps stacking NCAATs and a few wins in tourney that is what you want in short term. Then get better talent and keep moving up...

I could live with that. I want to be competitive. Not necessarily think final 4 every year (would be nice).

Short term? The guy has been here for 16 years!

He'll have more time to work on his handicap.
