When u see stuff like this it’s honestly shocking. I mean we see it being played out, but man to be in a list with Rutgers and Kansas, it’s really sad.

Through 6 games, those teams were:

2015 BC was 3-3, and did not win another game all year, to end the season at 3-9.
2016 Rutgers was 2-4, and did not win another game all year, to end the season at 2-10.
2014 Kansas was 2-4, won 1 more game to end the season at 3-9.
Those stats mean absolutely nothing to the 2021 Clemson team. We have a National Championship caliber defense, and adequate talent on offense, if they would just play to anything like their natural abilities.
The fact that we are 4-2 WITH some historically low offensive numbers should mean that we are going to get better at some point, given our talent. I Have to keep believing that.

Let’s keep telling ourselves the offense will get better. Has not worked for me through 6 games.
Tony Elliott is a major part of the issue. Then add a few lack of execution issue, QB that is clearly struggling and you have our offense.

We have like 50 blue chippers on the team so we darn well better be. Those Rutgers and Kansas teams were probably two of the least talented teams in the entire country those years.
Anyway, none of that changes the fact that our offense is nearly as bad as those others. It just means that without an elite defense loaded with 4 and 5 star players and one of the highest paid DCs in all of CFB, we would probably be on our way to 3 or 4 wins this year.

Is a pretty huge testament to the 2021 Clemson Defense! Especially considering the injuries we’ve had.
Get T Davis and A Booth on the field and I feel pretty good about Pitt next week.
