I was genuinely shocked to hear them talk complimentary about our baseball program. Said they would have lost to Okie St yesterday as they barely over came Sacred Heart. I asked if pulling a legend out of retirement was going to be like Lou Holtz or if he was going to build something in Cootlumbia. They weren’t sure. Imagine that. Coot with critical thinking skills. I think he’s going to perform about like Holtz.

That is shocking. Thanks for sharing. I’m not sure many folks give honest assessments. The fanatic in us causes folks see what they want to see. Believe it or not but some folks will pull for each other when they are not playing against the other. Something I cannot comprehend, but it does happen.

Glad to hear some respect from our brothers in Cootlumbia. I watched their game yesterday, was not super impressed, but if I know anything about gamecock baseball, they will find a way to be competitive.

I will say Petry is a professional hitter and I think will have a monster year. Excited to watch the Knaak/Petry matchup
